 Established in 1987, SHINER FIBER OPTICS (named ROUTE LITE Telecommunications before) started as a telecommunication-engineering contractor. Taiwan's rapid economic growth in 1980's, fast growing and development in industry and commerce consequently augmented the national living standard.
In response to the communication needs of the whole environment and the rapid growth of living standards; given the fact that cables and wires were foundational products for macroeconomic constructions, and in response to the government's encouragement to industrial elevation, a reform was resolved to dedicate ourselves in the field of photoelectric technology; sticking to "honest and sincere" as our cooperate philosophy.
Our quality policy targets at 'total quality management and continuous customer satisfaction'. Our strategy aims at 'the most professional fiber optic manufacturer in Taiwan'. Hence, SHINER FIBER OPTICS decided to focus on the R&D of optical fiber lamp in 1993. With the enthusiastic support and recommendation of Chief Staff Jien of the Industrial Promotion Committee of the Hsinchu City Government, we had the chance to cooperate with the Industrial Technology Research Institute and union Chemical Laboratories and to receive project guidance from the Bureau of Industrial Development, MOEA. With the efforts and supports from the Industrial Technology Research Institute and union Chemical fiber Laboratories, we successfully completed the research project and became the first optical lamp manufacturer in Taiwan.
